Harbor Light Content Group founders Andy and Cathy Sanders, through their former company, 5 Fold Media, LLC, served as the original publishers of some early volumes of The Passion Translation from approximately February 2011 through August 2014. During that time, our team raised multiple editorial and translation-related concerns. Our involvement ended in 2014. Since then, we have had no business, editorial, financial, promotional, ministry, or other working relationship with Brian Simmons, BroadStreet Publishing Group, or The Passion Translation. We do not publish, edit, sponsor, promote, endorse, recommend, use, or participate in the project in any way. We have previously posted statements concerning our historical involvement, and removing or limiting those materials should not be interpreted as hiding from our history or avoiding the record. We simply do not want Harbor Light Content Group pulled further into the current controversy surrounding the project. Any recent quotations from our company reflect only our firsthand historical experience. Harbor Light Content Group is not making, bringing, sponsoring, coordinating, or advancing allegations against Brian Simmons, BroadStreet Publishing Group, or any other party, and our statements should not be represented as such. Our professional relationship with Brian Simmons, BroadStreet Publishing Group, and The Passion Translation ended in 2014, and our decision to remain separate from the project is final. Except when it is necessary to correct the historical record, we have no interest in further involvement with the TPT project and will devote no additional company time or resources to it.
